I have a new art project. I bought a Bonsai tree! I’ve wanted one for so long, and after ~tiffany-elise gave me a book and starter kit for growing your own Bonsai this Christmas I was really inspired to get a tree so I could start on it right away. I bought my tree on Tuesday. I have taken a picture of how the tree looks brand new and unshaped. I plan to document the growth and progress of my Bonsai as I modify its shape. I probably won’t bother you all with monthly pictures and updates of how the tree is changing, but feel free to drop me a note if you’d like to know. The reason is that Bonsai is an on-going project; it’s never really finished, because the tree is always growing and will always need special care to maintain its shape and size. Anyway, I’m excited to try my hand at this.
